What highlights are.

Foils, placed with intention. Highlighting lightens selected sections from root to end, which is what gives it its precision: brightness exactly where your designer plans it, from a few pieces around the face to a full head of dimension.

Who they suit.

Guests who want defined, deliberate brightness: lightness that starts at the root, gray softened into dimension rather than covered, or a blonde that stays consistently blonde. If you'd rather have a softer, lower-maintenance grow-out, read our balayage page. The two are cousins, not competitors.

The appointment.

A consultation first if it's your first color visit. It's complimentary, and it decides everything. Then foils, a toner to land the exact shade, and a finished blowout. Where a range appears on the menu, it runs by designer level, Emerging Designer to Creative Director.

Before & after, from our own chairsThe gallery lands here with our 2026 photoshoot. We'd rather show you nothing than show you stock.

Every designer here is grown from within and trained in the house. Book by name, or call and the front desk will put you in the right chair.

Before you book.

Partial or full highlights: which do I need?

A partial concentrates on the top and face-framing sections, the hair the world sees down. A full head works dimension through the layers underneath too, which matters if you wear your hair up. If you're unsure, book the consultation and let your designer make the honest call.

How often do foiled highlights need a refresh?

Foils start at the root, so regrowth shows sooner than balayage. Most guests settle into a rhythm of several weeks to a couple of months, depending on contrast and how fast your hair grows. Your designer will suggest a cadence for yours.

Can highlights blend gray?

Beautifully. Blending gray into highlighted dimension is often the most graceful way to wear it, softer than full coverage and easier to maintain. It's one of the most common things we do.
